Quvo is a local Chrome extension. These notes describe the current prototype and this website.
What Quvo stores
The extension stores your catalog, quotes, current draft, and settings locally in IndexedDB and browser storage within the current Chrome profile. This can include customer names, contact details, product descriptions, prices, and your business details. Quvo does not provide accounts, cloud synchronization, or built-in usage analytics.
Optional WhatsApp Web access
Only after your action, Quvo requests optional access to web.whatsapp.com. It reads the visible chat heading to help you verify the recipient and inserts the quote into an empty message draft. It does not read chat history or send messages automatically. Review the recipient and text before sending. Access can be revoked in Chrome extension settings.
Exports, backups, and deletion
A JSON backup may contain customer contacts and commercial information. Keep it somewhere you control. Exporting, copying, printing, or sending a quote shares data according to the destination you choose. Removing the extension or Chrome profile can delete its local data. Export a full JSON backup first. A product CSV does not include all workspace data.
This website
This static website has no account form, advertising trackers, or analytics scripts. It remembers an explicitly selected website language in localStorage. Fonts, product images, downloads, and tutorial videos are served locally from this website. The hosting provider may process normal server access logs; this page cannot control that provider's retention.
Prototype limits
Version 0.4.0 is a local prototype, not a published Chrome Web Store release. Payment processing is not connected. Automatic tax calculation and currency conversion are not included. WhatsApp Web is an external service; its interface changes can affect optional draft insertion.
